The Yarra Valley's very own opera diva, Dame Nellie Melba, enchanted the world as Mimi in 'La Boheme. Puccini's famous opera based in the characterful Latin Quarter of 1880s Paris has four acts; the last ending.
Mimi, Rodolfo and Marcello dine and drink at Cafe Momus. A chance encounter with Marcello's old flame Museta, introduces her 'old boy', Alcindoro. An evening of hilarity follows with poor old Alcidoro picking up the bill for the youngsters' frivolities.
